Challenge
J.H.’s first miner ran reliably at 3,100W measured draw. A second S19 would push combined startup inrush past the breaker trip threshold during the morning pool reconnect cycle.
Our Work
Hye-jin Choi performed a 90-minute on-site assessment. Clamp meter readings over 24 hours showed peak draw spikes to 34A during simultaneous PSU soft-start. Thermal imaging confirmed adequate exhaust capacity for two units if intake placement changed.
Outcome
We recommended a single Antminer S19j Pro (104 TH/s) with a 2,930W typical draw. Combined fleet: 199 TH/s at 5,850W sustained — within the 30A circuit with 12% headroom. J.H. sourced the unit independently using our distributor verification checklist.
